Now that we are a full week in December, how do you feel? I’m really EXCITED that the holiday is here! It’s so much fun to decorate and pump all my favorite Christmas songs!! But you know, there’s always going to be a little bit of stress during the holidays.
Especially in 2020, right? In addition to shopping for gifts and possibly trying to travel to see your loved ones, you are probably looking for ways to protect everyone. It’s a delicate balance, and it can make you feel a little tense.
But don’t worry, my daughter-I have you! It’s time to get some #LSFyoga. And we have a new mat to help you make the most of your yoga session! I have the steps for a super soothing yoga workout below. You can follow or dress up your new #LSFmat and do any yoga or stretching workout you want. The goal is to give love to your body and let off steam during the holidays.

WHY YOGA AND STRETCHING ARE SO GOOD FOR RELIEVING STRESS
When I feel very stressed, I love a good yoga session. I mean, yoga is literally proven to relieve stress. It may even help lower your blood pressure, girls! By and large, it’s a great way to relax.
Since it is a body-mind practice, yoga helps you to calm your mind and body at the same time. And this super-relaxed yoga workout I’ve built up will give you plenty of opportunities to stretch it. Be careful when moving. You will be surprised at how much stress you carry in your hips or shoulders, and stretching can bring you a lot of relief!
Offers a yoga workout. Sweat it. Get bendy. Be relaxed. It really is the best way to break the tension of the holiday and give love to your body.
TIPS TO REDUCE STRESS ON VACATION AND STAY ZEN AF
In addition to yoga training, I wanted to give you a few more tips that I can use to keep the worries of the holiday at bay:
Keep a schedule and a budget:
EVERYTHING is ORGANIZED during the holidays! I even wrote a whole blog about it. Be sure to write things. Keep a current total of how much you spend on gifts so it doesn’t get out of hand. And be sure to write down all your obligations so that you do not reserve yourself too much. We just launched our destination planner 2021 to give you an ultra-sweet place to organize everything.
Take time for yourself every day:
Listen, I know it’s easy to be busy during this time of year. But this does not mean that you should just grit your teeth and push through! Make sure you take the time to take care of yourself every day. What is it you need? A good sweat session? A little sun? To call your mother? Give yourself time every day to check in and make sure that everything is in order.
Remember what matters:
I don’t know why, but I feel like shopping for gifts is getting more stressful every year. I don’t want to spend a lot of money, but I also want to give my people really great gifts! I think it’s worth taking a minute and remembering that gifts are not as important as the thought behind them. Really, you’re just trying to show people that you care about them. And you don’t need a lot of money to do it! Something sentimental or homemade can convey the same — and could be even more valuable for your gift than something with a big price tag.
Stick to your # goals:
Vacation is NOT the time to stop exercising or eat healthy! I know it is because there are treats everywhere and there is a def pull time. But if you lose the healthy habits that you have developed, you will feel bodily worse. And this can make the stress even greater. Take care of yourself, my daughter. You Deserve it!
